Ofsted inspection judges that St Mark’s is making “Good Progress”
Visit to the Academy by Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness Prince Philip
We are proud and honoured that St. Mark’s will be hosting a visit by the Queen and Prince Philip on Tuesday 15 May on behalf of Merton Council. The event will be part of the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee and the achievements of people across South London.
All parents and carers should have received a letter regarding the visit. On Tuesday the academy will not be able to provide a normal meals service to students. We will be offering a “snack pack” to each student and all are welcome to bring a packed lunch to add to this. Students will be released from the academy slightly early – from 2.30 onwards.
It will be an amazing day for the academy and a once in a lifetime experience.
